The Northern Michigan Spa Tour also hosted an evening benefit for almost 200 people on September 19, 2011 at the City Opera House in Traverse City. Attendees were able to see a screening of Dr. Wayne Dyer’s movie, “The Shift.” Guests had the opportunity to sample food, drink and spa services as they listened to live music by Mark Handler. Everyone received a free spa gift bag just for attending. Following the movie screening, there was a live auction where $4000 was raised for Habitat for Humanity.
