"We were married at The Homestead on August 7, 2010. We visited in February and thought if it is this beautiful in the winter, imagine what it will look like in the middle of the summer! We were right. We had our ceremony on The Top of Bay Mountain. It was incredible. Our rehearsal was the first time seeing the view (due to winter activities) and it took our breath away. Our guests, along with my husband and I, loved riding the ski lift to and from the top of the mountain. It was thrilling for some and so romantic for us. The staff at The Homestead far exceeded our expectations. We told them what we would like and they made it happen. The day could not have been more perfect. The sun was shining but the clouds arrived just in time to make pictures really beautiful. The reception was held at Camp Firefly. It looked amazing and the staff did everything there. We did not have to do anything but show up! The food was incredible. Most everyone went back for more. The staff assisted us at Camp Firefly even plated food for my grandparents and served them before we could ask them to. Throughout the weekend every staff member seemed to know we were getting married and gave us well wished. The Wedding Planning staff were so easy to work with and so very nice. It was like they took all our worried from us, handled it and let us enjoy our day. It was an amazing experience. It was more than we had budgeted but it was so worth it. My husband and I are planning to return to the resort for our anniversary to enjoy and relive it all over again!"  ~ Bradi and Andy
