Orvis Fly Fishing School

Orvis is the name which has been synonymous with fly fishing since 1856. The officially sanctioned Orvis Michigan Fly Fishing School at The Homestead is but one of ten such schools in the country. The winner of this prize will attend an Orvis School which is given over a two day period and covers all the basics of this increasingly popular hobby. Labor Day Holiday

Wine Tour Weekend

This always popular weekend begins with Saturday breakfast at Nonna's. Afterward, you'll pick up your box lunch, souvenir wine key and wine tasting journal and be taken to three of Leelanau's award winning vineyards where you'll meet, talk, taste and buy. Come evening, you'll experience an exquisite winemaker's dinner at Nonna's. Great Lakes Photo Tour

This weekend program for two includes two days of field trips with great deal of natural history and, of course, photography. It is lead by Mark Carlson, a well-known nature photographer and Bob Grzesiak a digital photography instructor. The Grand, Grand Prize

The Grand Prize will allow four people to experience luxurious living and extraordinary dining. They will stay in a luxurious three level condominium with two master suites and stunning water views. It will be stocked with snacks and beverages. They will dine on Friday evening at one of the area's finest restaurants, LaBecasse or North. On Saturday, they will visit a number of Leelanau's studios, galleries, farm markets and wineries. That evening they will dine with Chef Piombo at Nonna's at The Homestead featuring fine northern Italian cuisine. Breakfast is also included for each morning. Taxes are included.
