Fancy a tennis match? The Homestead serves up five clay courts with unbeatable views of Lake Michigan. Whether you're a serious player or just looking to have a good time, our courts are perfect for a friendly match or some solo practice. Don't forget to book a private lesson to take your game to the next level!


Want to explore the stunning coastline by water? Dive into the fun and rent one of our kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, or river tubes. Feel the breeze in your hair as you glide along the crystal-clear waters, soaking up the breathtaking scenery. Seasoned paddlers and beginners alike love experiencing the beauty of Lake Michigan from the water!


Swimming is one of our favorite things to do in the area around The Homestead. Take a dip in the waterfall at the Beach Club pool, or race down the waterslide at Mountain Village. Schedule a service at Spa Amira's private pool to enjoy a day of relaxation with unmatched views, or jump into Lake Michigan anywhere along the mile of coastline The Homestead offers.


Lace up your boots and explore the Dunes by foot! The Bay View Trail and Sleeping Bear Dunes Heritage Trail are both within walking distance of The Homestead, and many others are just a short drive away. If you're the pedal-pushing type, rent a mountain or road bike through The Cyclery in Glen Arbor!


Tee off at Manitou Passage Golf Club, Arnold Palmer's parkland-style 18-hole course. You can’t ask for a more beautiful backdrop for a day of golf than Good Harbor Bay, and the course itself is every bit as inspiring as its surrounding scenery. Manitou Passage features several memorable challenges, including dramatic elevation changes and dense hardwood borders! 


Grab your fishing gear, unwind, and enjoy reeling in Lake Michigan's plentiful fish! Pier Pressure Charters and Watta Bite offer top-tier charter fishing trips. Guests can also fish from The Homestead itself along the banks of the Crystal River.


Just because summer has ended doesn't mean the fun has to. Enjoy winter skiing and snowboarding with unparalleled views on The Homestead's ski slopes! Members and guests are guaranteed lift ticket availability, and the snow season typically lasts from December through March. 

Skiing and snowboarding lessons are also available from The Homestead at its Snowsports School. Or if you’re looking for more of a low-key winter adventure, we also offer snowshoe and cross-country rentals.
